Rangers put Jung on IL, recall Smith from minors

The first-place Texas Rangers placed third baseman Josh Jung on the 10-day injured list Saturday, retroactive to Wednesday, with a left calf strain, and recalled veteran infielder Josh Smith from Triple-A Round Rock.
