Abdominal surgery to sideline Giants 3B Chapman

San Francisco Giants veteran third baseman Matt Chapman, 33, who has seven home runs and 42 RBIs over 84 games this year, will undergo season-ending surgery in Philadelphia on Tuesday for an abdominal strain.
